CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC  - 03.06.16

Here we are again, I confess what I've been spending my money on in the hope of convincing you it's a good idea and that you should do the same. All of which should make me feel better about and help me sleep at night. Well for now lets just get this confession time under way, please let me know what you think guys....

Denim Jacket  H&M  £19.99    Item NR:  0348678001
Scarf Print Tee  Urban Outfitters  (old)
Jeans  Topshop
Hat  F&F  (see previous post)
Shoes  Primark  (see below)

If you follow me on instagram you would have seen my dilemma with this jacket, I couldn't decide between this one and a lighter version. When I finally decided on the lighter version I went back to the website to order it using the discount code that started it all, only to find it had sold out in my size. So needless to say this version was ordered instead, and to be honest I'm actually glad I went for this one now. I think for outfits like the one above that I'm wearing today a lighter colour could have looked a little dated. Using my discount meant that I paid just £16.99, which I think will be more than spent on cost per wear very soon. It will be the perfect summer throw on along with my shacket (see previous post). I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that this actually fitted on first attempt. I ordered my usual size and was very dubious it would fit. As with every other occasion I have ordered H&M denim online I have had to re-size at least once. This is why I have included the item number above as this one is not only a great price but is true to size and a really soft denim so very comfortable. I would really recommend!

Black Tribal Textured Across Body Bag  New Look  £7.00 (was £15.99)
Blouse  Miss Selfridge  (see previous post)
Denim Shorts  H&M  (old)
Slides  Next  (see previous post)

My new bag you would have seen last week on my instagram as I was styling it with shorts (no short weather this week unfortunately). I have been on the hunt for a little aztec style tasseled bag for a while now as I didn't want to pay too much for it because I don't think I'll use it all that much. I found this one in the New Look sale and as it was the last one I thought I'd rescue it and bring it home with me - I'm not mad I'm just trying different techniques on justifying all these new purchases! Now I have it I've thought of lots of different outfits I can use it with but I'm still glad I got it at such a bargain price. It is still available on the website in the sale section and there are also a few other versions in a similar style and similar price, so worth a look.

Shoes  Primark  £8.00

My bargain of the week this week was my new shoes, at just £8.00! It's no secret I love a lace up and the ghillie style shoe that's everywhere at the moment. Some of these are quite expensive though so when I saw these I was shocked at how cheap they were. They were in the 'wide fit' section, not normally a section I look in but because you can pull the laces as tight as you need means they fit perfectly. This also means they are super comfy and easy to run around in. I took my usual size in these which is a rarity for Primark and thankfully saved me faffing around with lots of different pairs, always a plus when shopping with a non-compliant toddler. Whenever I buy cheap 'too good to be true' shoes though I'm always waiting for it all to come undone. But so far so good with these on first wear, I'll keep you posted and let you know if it all goes Pete Tong though.

I hope you love my new buys as much as I do. If you want to check me out styling them up give me a follow on Instagram for all the details. If summer comes back around next week I can give my new maxi dress a go (see this weeks post on maxi dresses), so let's all keep our fingers crossed. Have a happy weekend my friends and go make some memories for Monday,

xx
